Festival Camping Information and Rules

Choose your camping pass

RV/VEHICLE CAMPING PASS – Required for parking:

  • RVs, trailers, motorhomes, tent trailers, pop-ups, trucks, vans - basically any vehicle used for sleeping
  • Limited availability for RV/Vehicle Camping Passes
  • Camping spots are first-come, first-served
    • No assigned spots
    • No saving spots for others. If you want to camp next to someone, check in together
  • Tow vehicles/trucks are NOT allowed to stay at the campsite
    • Must be moved to:
      • Observatory Lot on A Street (free), or
      • South Camp Area Parking Lot (paid)
  • RV/VEHICLE CAMPING PASS includes:
    • ONE Adult 3-Day Festival Pass with Camping
    • Anyone without a camping wristband will NOT be allowed into the camping area
    • RV Guest: Staying with someone who has an RV/VEHICLE CAMPING PASS? Simply purchase the Adult 3 Day Camping Festival Ticket to join them in their RV

TENT CAMPING PASS – Required for setting up a tent or canopy (one tent or canopy per pass).

  • Camping spots are first-come, first-served
    • No assigned spots.
    • No saving spots for others.
    • If you want to camp next to someone, check in together.
  • TENT CAMPING PASS includes:
    • ONE Adult 3-Day Festival Pass with Camping.
    • Anyone without a camping wristband will NOT be allowed into the camping area.
    • Tent Guest: Staying with someone who has a TENT CAMPING PASS? Simply purchase the Adult 3 Day Camping Festival Ticket to join them in their tent
  • Tent camping vehicle access:
    • Vehicles allowed in tent area only during setup and takedown times:
      • Thursday: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM
      • Friday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
      • Sunday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
    • After those times, vehicles must be parked:
      • In the Observatory Lot (A Avenue), or
      • For a fee in the South Camping Area Parking Lot.
    • Improperly parked vehicles will be towed.

CHECK IN

Campers with a valid 3 day Festival Pass with Camping, and their kids, 16 and younger, may check in to the campground as early as noon on Thursday, May 28. If you are planning to start camping on Thursday, May 28, purchase the $30 Early Bird Arrival on Thursday Pass (see ticket options). Otherwise, for Friday, May 28th arrival, please arrive before 8:00 PM. 

  • Please bring your proof of festival pass (on mobile app or printed) to show at the ticket booth
  • Campers may begin lining up in the Observatory Park parking lot at the end of A Avenue on Thursday and a driver must stay with your vehicle at all times
  • As you line up, please do not block resident driveways, we are guests in their neighborhood
  • Be patient with our volunteers as they guide you to the campground, follow all directional signs and obey the 10 MPH speed limit and One Way road for safety
  • If you do not have a campground parking pass, you must unload and relocate your vehicle to the Observatory Park parking lot at the end of A Avenue

CHECK OUT

All campers must check out of the campground no later than 11:00 AM on Monday, June 1

  • If you need to check out on Sunday, May 31 before the end of the festival, you may enter and exit the south campground between 8:00 AM and Noon
  • Leave no trace: pack out all garbage and recycling or place it in the proper garbage or recycling container on site and leave your campsite as you found it
  • Be patient with our volunteers as they assist with check out, follow all directional signs and obey the 10 MPH speed limit and One Way road for safety

RULES

  • No driving in and out of South Campground once the festival begins. If you anticipate a need to leave during the weekend, park your car in the Observatory Park lot
  • You are NOT allowed to hold spots for other campers, if you want to camp together, arrive together
  • Please be KIND! Camping area quiet time is 10pm - 6am. Be respectful of your neighbors and obey the following during quiet time:
    • No generators. Generators can be run during the day, but please keep them to a minimum so as not to disturb other campers
    • No amplified sound
    • No drum circles
    • No excessive noise
  • Keep it GREEN!
    • PACK IN, PACK OUT - or place trash in containers/large receptacles provided. A large recycling container is located in the Visitor Center/ADA lot and recycling containers are also found in the venue, we encourage you to use them for clean 
      • Plastics #1, #2, (#3 is NOT included), #4, #5, #6, #7
      • Household steel and aluminum cans
        • To save space, please crush your cans
      • Clean unwaxed cardboard
        • To save space, please break down your cardboard boxes
      • Clean Paper
      • Glass recycling is NOT provided, please recycle at your favorite glass recycling location, ie, Ogden High School south parking lot, 4th Street Park
    • Dogs (well behaved) belonging to registered campers are allowed in the campground and must always be on a leash. Dogs are NOT allowed in the festival venue! Please pick up pet waste
    • Do not dump or drain gray or black water in the park. Do not bathe or wash dishes at water hydrants. Continuous water hook-ups are not available
  • Keep HYDRATED!
    • Water faucets are located in the North Campground near Trader and Trapper Boweries but there are NO water faucets in the South Campground. Water may be obtained from the venue near the South Gate during festival hours (locked after hours). Campers please plan ahead! Bring potable water and refillable containers.
  • Keep it SAFE!
    • Open fires are PROHIBITED by order of the Fire Marshall. Propane stoves and self contained fuel devices are permitted at table height > 3 feet. Violation is a Class B misdemeanor. Negligent parties liable for fire costs.
    • Fireworks of any kind are prohibited. Do not carve, chop, cut or damage any live tree or plant
    • No guns, firearms, weapons or other projectile items allowed in the parks, including but not limited to BB guns, air guns, paintball guns, pellet guns, sling shots, archery, pistols and rifles
    • Speed limit in the park is 10 MPH
    • No problematic, aggressive, or illegal behavior

OFOAM reserves the right to refuse access to the festival for violations of the rules
