Festival Information and Rules

  1. Refund Policy: Tickets are non-refundable. If you are unable to use your ticket, you may transfer the ticket to another person. Go to your confirmation email and follow the steps to transfer your ticket to a different name.
  2. Seating: There are a variety of seating options on the flat lawn of Fort Buenaventura:
    If you leave your seats unattended, they are available for others to sit in until you return.
    • low-profile chairs and blankets up front
    • high profile chairs further back
  3. Shade: OFOAM will provide an increased number of shade tents to be shared. Folding chairs will be available under OFOAM shade tents. Individual shade tents, tarps, umbrellas or canopies are not allowed in the venue this year.
  4. Dogs/Animals: Dogs are NOT allowed within the festival gates! Well behaved dogs with supervision belonging to registered campers will be allowed in the campground and must be on a leash.
  5. Dancing: Dancing is encouraged in the designated area to the right of the stage. Please be respectful of others and do not stand or dance in the festival seating areas.
  6. Family Zone: a Family Zone will be provided on the left side of the stage. This will have soft borders that may fluctuate depending upon use.
  7. Recording and Photography: This is a taper-friendly festival (unless specifically announced during a performance). No flash photography is permitted. Do not obstruct the view of those around you. You may not use any type of photograph or recording from Ogden Music Festival for commercial purposes without express written permission.
  8. Smoking: No smoking or vaping in the audience. If you must smoke, wander over to the area south of the bank of porta-potties by the pond. Safely dispose of your butts.
  9. Safety:
    1. No guns, firearms, weapons or other projectile items allowed in the park, including but not limited to BB guns, air guns, paint ball guns, pellet guns, sling shots, archery, pistols and rifles.
    2. No problematic, aggressive or illegal behavior.
  10. Alcohol/Glass: No alcoholic beverages may be brought into or out of the Ogden Music Festival. No glass! Individuals 21 years of age and older may purchase alcohol from vendors on site, requiring a designated alcohol wristband upon ID verification. NO coolers allowed. All bags must be clear and are subject to search. All drink containers need to be emptied at entrance and exit gates.
  11. Food and Beverages: We encourage you to bring reusable containers for water. OFOAM has registered with the byobottle.org, and complies with the BYOBottle Venue Commitment: We commit to help reduce plastic waste in the music industry and support musicians who BYOBottle by providing water refill stations backstage. We encourage festivarians to BYOBottle and OFOAM provides water refill stations in the venue. Bring in empty and we won’t need to ask you to dump out at the gate. Vendors offer a wide range of foods to suit a variety of dietary need and beverages, including beer and wine. No outside food allowed. NO coolers and NO glass containers.
  12. Parking:
    • Upper Parking Lot: Public parking is available at the south end of "A" Avenue. Paths between the festival and upper lot will be marked and well-lit after dark.
    • Lower Parking Lot: Entrance at 2450 A Avenue. Restricted public access.
      • Campground Lot (north): ADA, seniors, VIP and premium sites – no public parking
      • Campground Lot (south): Registered campers only for additional $15 fee – no public parking. Vehicle must stay parked throughout entire festival.
  13. Weather: Late May/early June can bring thunderstorms and rain; though average temperatures range in the 70s and 80s, temps could dip into the 50s. Be prepared for weather extremes including rain, and dress in layers. Don't forget your hat and sunscreen!
  14. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle: Reduce! Purchase or bring your own 16 oz stainless steel cup to get refills on drinks at Roosters, and a water bottle to refill on site, feeling great each time that you're using one less plastic cup or bottle. Reuse! Reuse your utensils and paper water cups. Recycle! Place your #1, #2, #4, #5, #6 and #7 plastics, unwaxed cardboard and clean paper in our recycle containers, aluminum cans in the aluminum recycle containers, and food waste in the buckets to feed the pigs. Be green and be kind to our volunteers who will sort when you don’t.

Bottom line: Behave yourself, respect others and have fun! OFOAM reserves the right to refuse access to the festival for violation of the rules.
