A Celebration of Life, Memory & Culture

Día de los Muertos en Ogden is a traditional Mexican celebration that brings families and the community together to remember, honor, and celebrate the lives of those who came before us.

Rooted in generations of tradition, Día de los Muertos is a time to share memories, tell stories, honor our loved ones, and celebrate the connections that continue beyond life.

At the heart of Día de los Muertos are the ofrendas, altars, created to honor and remember loved ones who have passed.

Explore our community altar and discover the meaning behind the photographs, flowers, candles, food, and personal items placed on an ofrenda.

We will also feature a special Pet Altar, hosted by The Golden Bark Foundation, honoring the beloved animals who have shared our lives.

Our celebration draws inspiration from the rich traditions of Michoacán, Mexico, while creating a welcoming space for our entire community to experience and learn about this meaningful tradition.

Why We Celebrate & Get Involved More than an event—it is a celebration of community.

Día de los Muertos reminds us that remembering someone is a way of keeping their story alive.

Our celebration creates an opportunity to share a meaningful Mexican tradition with the Ogden community, celebrate our cultural heritage, and create space for families and neighbors to come together.

This is more than a festival. It is a celebration of memory, family, culture, and community.

This celebration is made possible because our community comes together. Interested in volunteering, supporting the event, or helping us bring Día de los Muertos en Ogden to life?
