Lash LaRue is a Park City band that infuses a wonderful mixture of driving original tunes with old country blues, rock n’ roll and good o’l Americana. Coming together in 2009 the group combines a mixture of Park City favorites including Cole Hobbs on lead guitar, vocals and harmonica, Karri Dell Hays on fiddle, vocals and clawhammer banjo, Elaine Minahan on lead vocals and washboard, Jack Walzer on guitar and vocals and Mark Viar on the dog house bass.
Bettye LaVette is one of the most soulful singers alive. She started life in Muskegon, Michigan in the late '40s but moved to Detroit with her family when she was six years old. Unlike most of her peers, she did not grow up in a Baptist church singing gospel. As she says, "I am a child of the blues", which was the music she heard as a young child. Her soul is so deep, that it is assumed that she must have started in church.

Sister Wives first public gig was in January 2003. Since that time, the band has appeared twice on Channel 4's Good Things Utah, performed three times on the Festival Stage at the Utah Arts Festival, KRCL's Day in the Park, and been named one the of the Best New Bands of the Year in the SLAMMy's (Salt Lake Music Awards) voted by the readers of Salt Lake City Weekly Magazine.
