OFOAM fell in love with Weber County's North Fork Park in 2011 when we had to relocate the Ogden Music Festival due to flooding at our dear Fort Buenaventura. What better time to experience beautiful Ogden Valley when the heat lingers downtown and everyone is itching for the first signs of autumn? And what better place to celebrate Ogden's long love affair with roots and blues music?
We're thrilled that Bettye LaVette has accepted our offer to headline Saturday night! Bill Kirchen headlines Friday night and will lead a guitar master class for the adult learner in addition to a free workshop for kids, "Guitar Through the Ages". Swamp Cabbage returns to add their unique North Florida sound. Expect to see other national performers whose particular brands of roots and blues evoke the places they're from, as well as some mighty fine local bands who have been steeped in the roots and blues traditions that came out of our own history.
